To obtain a visitor visa for Canada, you must meet these requirements:

  • Valid Travel Document: Possess a valid passport or equivalent travel document.
  • Good Health: Be in good health.
  • No Criminal Records: Have no criminal or immigration-related convictions.
  • Ties to Home Country: Demonstrate ties such as employment, residence, financial assets, or family connections ensuring your return.
  • Intent to Depart: Convince immigration officers of your intention to leave Canada after your visit.
  • Sufficient Funds: Have enough funds for your stay, depending on its duration and accommodation arrangements.
  • Additional Requirements: Undergo a medical examination if necessary and obtain a letter of invitation from a Canadian resident if applicable.
